The Audible connector allows Audible to provide audiobook recommendations inside Claude’s chat interface. Ask by genre, mood, topic, author, narrator, and more — and get results with cover images, ratings, and links to view on Audible.com.
The connector is available to anyone using Claude. You don’t need an Audible account to get started.

How do I connect the Audible connector?

You only need one thing to use the Audible connector: 

• Access to Claude (web or desktop)

Note: No Audible account is required. The connector pulls recommendations from Audible.com catalog without sign-in.

To add the Audible connector to Claude: 

1. Open Claude.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Select Connectors.
4. Select Browse connectors.
5. Find the Audible connector and select Connect.
6. The first time you use the connector you will be asked to allow Claude to use the Recommend tool from Audible. Select always allow or allow once to continue.

You’re all set — no sign-in needed. Start asking about audiobooks and Claude will use the connector automatically.

 Your queries are processed through Claude by Anthropic. Audible receives only the information needed to return audiobook recommendations and does not access your Claude account or conversation history.

How do I check the connection?

 To confirm the Audible connector is working:

1. Look for the Audible connector in Claude's tools area near the chat entry box. Select the plus sign (+), then select Connectors to see if Audible is toggled on.
2. Ask a simple question to test it, for example: “Recommend a fantasy audiobook.”
3. If the connection is working, you’ll see audiobook results with cover images and links to Audible.
