This option lets you return titles purchased in error or explore different narrators and stories risk-free. You can return an audiobook on the Audible site.

Eligibility requirements

• You must be an active Audible Premium Plus member in good standing.
• You’re making the return within 365 days of its purchase date. 
• You purchased the title with an Audible credit.

Note: We reserve the right to limit the number of returns or revoke return privileges at our discretion. Based on your return history, the self-service refund option may not be available. Audible may cancel or modify the terms of our returns option with respect to any or all participants at any time. Customers who cancel or fail to maintain their membership in good standing are not eligible to make returns. This return option doesn’t affect any rights you have under consumer law.
 

How do I return an audiobook on Mobile?

Return Audible titles from your iOS Device or Android device by following these steps:

1. Open a web browser (Safari, Chrome, etc.) on your mobile device.
2. Go to www.audible.com and sign in to your account.
3. Tap the menu icon (three horizontal lines), then tap the greater than symbol (>) next to your name.
4. Select Purchase history.
5. Find the title you want to return and tap on it.
6. Select Return this title and Confirm.

• Refunded credits will expire 12 months after being issued, regardless of the original credit type.
• After confirming your return, 1 credit will be added back to your account.

How do I return an audiobook on Desktop?

1. Select your username from the site's top navigation or select Account details.
2. Select Purchase history.
3. Next to the title you want to return, select Return this title.
4. Confirm the return.

What happens to your Audible title when you return it's companion Kindle eBook?

When you purchase an Audible title at a discounted price through the “Add Narration’ offer (which offers savings when you purchase an audiobook alongside its Kindle eBook), the two titles are linked. If you later make an eligible return of that Kindle eBook, Audible will automatically process a refund for the Audible title and remove it from your Library. This refund will be issued to your original payment method, and you will receive notification when this action occurs.
